After a slew of successful events at The Lab earlier in the year, The Rumour Quill returns to Northampton with an open-mic night based at the University of Northampton’s Avenue Campus this Monday night!
Despite being based at the University, this event is not just for students. Whether you want to perform, or just watch the talent on display, anyone is welcome. This event is designed to expand and support the creative community in and around Northamptonshire, and will be running monthly following their relaunch this Monday.
From September, The Rumour Quill has been under an entirely new management, comprising of Thomas Whitehouse, Ben Hornett, and Tre Ventour, and they are intending to expand the group outside of the county to network with other creative groups such as those in Luton and Bedford.
The event on Monday will be compered by NLive Breakfast Show and Undiscovered Northampton host Chris Harris, and features spoken-word, comedic, and musical talent from around the county including poets Mark Symmonds, Tre Ventour, and Q-Space Artist of September, Cameron Grace, and many more.
