8-Year-Old Raising Hundreds For Northampton Charity
Written by Newsteam on April 23, 2020
8-year-old Aidan Hoedemaker has spent his lockdown learning a new skill; riding his bike. He’s now putting his new trait to good use.
Aiden, who turns 9 in May, wants to make sure everyone has a safe place to be during the quarantine. This is why he’s raising money for the Northampton Hope Centre, who strive to tackle homelessness and poverty in the county.
As his birthday wish, he would like to raise some money on his Just Giving page (which can be found below). He will be cycling a minimum of 2km per day on his daily exercise with his family. His aim is to cycle 40km in 20 days and will camp out in his back garden on the final day.
Aidan has already raised £280 for the charity and if you would like to help him out you can donate to his page here.
