A new start to your weekdays

Written by on January 15, 2020

As of this week, former Saturday Breakfast presenter Colin Read has taken over the weekday Breakfast Show. Bringing his unique presenting style to the week days, Colin is packing his show with great guests, film previews, a local whats-on guide, and of course the Name That Film feature.

While only in his first week, Colin has already had some great guests, including personal trainer Jon Bellis and the head of Marketing and Fundraising at the Hope Centre Louise Danielzcuk, with the promise of many more to come!

On the move to weekdays, Colin said “It’s an absolute pleasure to be taking over the week day breakfast show, and I look forward to entertaining the town every morning as they wake up and head off out to work.

I’ve loved presenting the Saturday breakfast show the last few years, and will miss it, but hope that those listeners will tune in during the week to hear some of the same antics, music and what they love about NLive”.

But that’s not all that’s going on NLive.

We’re revitalising our mid-morning Undiscovered Northampton show. Will Oelrich and Conor Rutherford will keep you entertained and up to date with Northampton’s sporting scene on Monday mornings. Former breakfast show host Chris Harris will keep you informed about whats on, and Northampton’s food scene while chatting to some fun and interesting people on Wednesday mornings. On Fridays, the ex-Islanders and Women with Soul host April Dawn will be discussing issues effecting the town with some fantastic guests.

Away from the mid-morning shows, we are also working to bring you eve more stuff! Talk of the Town with Lisa and Gareth recently launched on a Sunday evening, and a news arts and culture show hosted by Bard of Northampton Paul Gifney coming shortly.

And of course, there are the shows we can’t quite tell you about just yet…

More on those very soon!
