Digital Northampton Teams Up With NLive Radio For New Evening Show

Written by on June 11, 2020

Starting on the 24th of June, NLive Radio will be supporting the growth of Digital Northampton with a new monthly evening show.

Digital Northampton is a collaboration between local digital businesses, the University of Northampton, and Northamptonshire County Council designed to support digital innovation in and around Northampton. The new show is set to help accelerate the development, growth and connections of everyone working in the digital space in Northampton and the wider county.

Hosted by Ken Punter, a veteran in the tech and digital sector, the show will cover as much ground as possible. This will include organisations and individuals from things as diverse as manufacturing, retail, software development, education, healthcare, communications, charities, and the arts. They will be looking at absolutely anything else that links to the ‘digital and online’ world.

There will be discussions, ‘how to’ guidance, profiles, reviews, interviews, and some grass-roots examination of this rapidly changing space. While diving into the heart of the subject, it will be a jargon-free zone.

Richard Beards, Project Manager of Digital Northampton said “We see Digital Northampton as a spark for the area to help build a digital community and encourage people to collaborate. It’s great NLive and Ken Punter have been able to come together to create this new show. It will give us another channel to showcase the digital talent and businesses we have locally and generate even more possibilities for people to connect”

Station manager, Martin Steers, is pleased with the collaboration. “We welcome Ken coming on board to NLive Radio to launch a show dedicated to Digital Northampton, and look forward to discussions and insight about Digital Northampton and those individuals and businesses involved being brought to our listeners”.

The Digital Northampton show will launch on Wednesday 24th June, 7-9PM.
