All-rounder Rob Keogh makes his 100th appearance for Northamptonshire in today’s County Championship clash with Essex.
The 30-year-old Keogh, who was born in nearby Dunstable, made his first-class debut in 2012 against Glamorgan and has scored more than 4,700 runs in 98 matches for the county.
True to his all-rounder status, he has also been very important to the team when bowling, taking 97 wickets.

Northants have made a fairly slow start to the County Championship this season. They drew their opening two games against Gloucestershire and Yorkshire.
Essex won the toss and chose to bowl today. They started well, taking a wicket after just three balls. Northants have managed to get back on track in the game. They were 79-1 at lunch.
