Labour take Northampton Town Council – Local Elections 2021

The final results are in for the first ever election for the Northampton Town Council.

The Labour party have taken control of the council with 17 seats, to be joined by 7 from the Conservative Party and 1 from the Liberal Demcrats.

This is following the election on Thursday for the new West Northamptonshire Unitary Authority Council, the new Northampton Town Council and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (due to be counted on Monday).
