NLive Joins Nationwide Mental Health Campaign
Written by Chris Harris on May 4, 2020
In an ambitious national campaign, Radiocentre, in partnership with Audio Always, Somethin’ Else and a host of leading mental health charities are bringing UK radio together to offer audiences advice, tips and activities for looking after their personal wellbeing during the coronavirus outbreak.
60 Second Support is a series of featuring advice on how our listeners can deal with a range of mental health challenges that are currently amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic. They will also serve as an incredible tool to normalise conversations about how the country is feeling right now.
You can hear these messages on NLive every weekday during Breakfast at 8:15 and Drive at 5:15.
There will be a range of themes covered in the packages, from helping your mind with a daily routine and breathing exercises to help you relax, to socialising the mind when you’re on your own and managing worry about the future.
We are really pleased that the Royal Foundation’s Heads Together charity is supporting 60 Second Support. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this campaign to ensure that it’s as helpful as possible. You can find out more about Heads Together at headstogether.org.uk
