The Cleaner & Greener in Northampton campaign supported by Veolia is set to launch tomorrow Thursday 1 July and will raise awareness of recycling; living greener and how we can be more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Throughout the coming weeks the station will be speaking to businesses and individuals working to make Northampton more environmentally friendly and sustainable including the Grosvenor Centre, Carlsberg, and the University of Northampton, as well as individuals and community groups who are also working in this area.
NLive Radio’s station manager Martin Steer’s said, “Northampton is a fantastic place to live, work and study and we want to do what we can to help make the town become a greener and cleaner place”
NLive Radio will also be taking the lead in organising a Northampton spring clean, encouraging local businesses, organisations and individuals to tidy up their local areas with litter picking and tidy up activities.
Station volunteers, staff and friends will also be joining the clean up during an organised litter-pick with the hope of encouraging people across the town to help make Northampton a greener and cleaner place.
