The second edition of Northampton News Review is going out this Saturday evening, and we have three panelists from around Northampton joining presenter Nik Stevenson to talk about the week’s local and national events.
This week, we’ll be discussing tuition fees, the public sector pay cap, and why a bunch of historical figures have suddenly found themselves at the centre of controversy.
In case you missed it last week, here’s a bit about our host:
“Nik is a curate for St Mary the Virgin, Far Cotton. He broadcasts for an online community of followers of Jesus. He is passionate about community and has a heart for working in areas that are often neglected by other churches, government organisations and charities.”
On the panel this week, we have journalist Steve Scoles.
Steve is the former editor of the Herald and Post and is an active journalist with a wealth of experience across print, digital, and training.
Steve is joined by local business owner, Michella Dos Santos.
Michella is the owner of Northampton’s Magic Bean Emporium cafe, and is vocal and opinionated about issues in the community.
The final panel member is Liberal Democrat Tim Hasker.
Tim is an active member of the Lib Dems, and has worked in the European Parliament and now has extensive experience in financial services, control and governance environments.
So, don’t forget to tune in this Saturday, 7-8PM on NNBC, 106.9 and online. It’s bound to be another interesting listen…
Stay well in Shoetown!
