White Cobra take their theatre online this September with their first audio play

Award-winning Northampton based theatre company, White Cobra, have spent the last 8 years entertaining theatre-goers in Northampton and around the country with a varied and exciting list of productions, but September sees them launch their first audio production.
With theatres across the country still closed due to lockdowns and government regulations on performances, the group have had to cancel a number of productions they planned to tour – so instead they’ve taken to the internet to record Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer – a play by Peter Drake.
Books. Wine. Friendship. What else is there? Join Bev, Louise, Rachel and Helen at their book club across the space of a year – each month they meet to discuss the latest book and end up discussing the trials and tribulations of middle-aged women in the 21st Century. It’s only when one of them falls ill that they really discover the true value of their friendship.
The play, directed by White Cobra regular Fraser Haines, will go live on the group’s YouTube Channel at 7.30pm on Thursday 3rd September, and is free to listen.
White Cobra Productions perform a wide variety of shows from drama to musicals, including recent tours of The Graduate and The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and outdoor summer tours at National Trust properties.
